WATERBURY, Vermont - Green Mountain Coffee, Inc. (NASDAQ: GMCR) announced today that it has fully integrated coffees formerly marketed under the Frontier(R) Organic Coffee brand into its line of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Fair Trade and organic certified coffees. This consolidation of the Company's Fair Trade and organic certified coffee line creates one of the broadest selections of double-certified specialty coffees available in the U.S. under one brand. Green Mountain Coffee, Inc., acquired the Frontier Organic Coffee brand from Frontier Natural Products Co-op of Norway, Iowa, in June 2001.

Green Mountain Coffee's extensive line of double-certified coffees includes single-origin, blends, dark roasts, Swiss Water(R) Process decaffeinated, and flavored coffees. The Fair Trade and organic certified selections are offered in a wide variety of formats to meet customer needs, including bulk, 10-oz. and 12-oz. bags, institutional fractional packages, retail fractional packages, and in the Keurig K-Cup(TM).

"The expansion of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters' Fair Trade and organic product line enhances the Company's standing in the growing natural foods market segment," said TJ Whalen, Director of Brand and Market Development for Green Mountain Coffee. "We are working with the distributors who helped us market the Frontier Organic Coffee brand to bring this line of Green Mountain Fair Trade and organic certified coffees to some areas of the U.S. for the first time." Lindsey Bolger, Coffee Manager, added, "I'm excited about our double-certified Fair Trade and organic coffees. We offer wonderful single-origin coffees as well as some carefully crafted blends. The Fair Trade certification ensures that farmers receive a fair price for their hard work, leading to more stable economies and further community development. The Fair Trade premiums also enable farmers to invest in the quality of their coffee, and the organic certification ensures that the coffee was grown under environmentally sound practices. People can feel good about their great cup of coffee and the positive impact it has in the world."

Green Mountain Coffee, Inc. is a leader in the specialty coffee industry and has been recognized by Forbes Magazine for the past two years as one of the "200 Best Small Companies in America." The Company roasts high-quality arabica coffees and offers over 75 coffee selections including single-origin, estate, certified organic, Fair Trade, signature blends, and flavored coffees that it sells under the Green Mountain Coffee Roasters(R) brand. The majority of Green Mountain Coffee's revenue is derived from its wholesale operation that serves supermarkets, convenience stores, offices, and other locations where fine coffees are sold. Green Mountain Coffee also operates a direct mail business and an e-commerce website (http://www.GreenMountainCoffee.com ) with secure online ordering for customers from its Waterbury, Vermont headquarters. Green Mountain Coffee seeks to make the world a better place for present and future generations by operating in an environmentally and socially conscientious manner.

Welcome to the Keurig Green Mountain, Inc. (Keurig) fiscal 2014 sustainability report. At Keurig, we have blended the disruptive innovation of a leading-edge technology company with the consumer focus of a socially conscious, premium beverage company. We’re proud of our integrity, innovation, and growth over more than three decades. We aim to “brew a better world,” using the power of business to make the world a better place.

This report highlights our most recent sustainability initiatives, including our work toward our 2020 sustainability targets. Our work focuses on three key areas: creating a Resilient Supply Chain, innovation of Sustainable Products, and support for Thriving People and Communities. We’ve created a fourth section of the report this year that addresses Water Stewardship, a cross-cutting topic that spans all of our focus areas. With this report, we are announcing a new target to balance the water used in our 2020 brewed beverage volume of all our beverages, ounce for ounce. In other words, for every cup our consumers brew, we will restore the same amount of water for natural and community uses through projects in North America.
