ANALYSYS Goes Green, Reaching Carbon Neutral Goal, Reduces Power Consumption 52%

BALTIMORE, April 21 /PRNewswire/ -- ANALYSYS, a Baltimore-Washington based information technology services company, announced for Earth Day (April 22, 2009) that it has achieved its goal of "Carbon Neutrality" through its transition to 100% clean wind power and purchase of Renewable Energy Credits to offset employee travel. Through its partnership with Clean Currents, a Rockville, MD based leader in green energy solutions, ANALYSYS has reduced or offset over 102 tons of CO2 emissions and has returned approximately 155 kilowatt-hours of conventional electricity to the power grid. This practical step taken by ANALYSYS, one of several in its ongoing initiative to reduce environmental impact is expected to save ANALYSYS approximately $13,000 per year in power related costs.
