Ideas, Insights & Inspirations... How do you secure the buy-in necessary to be successful? How do you create value for your company? How do you achieve maximum results with the resources you have? How do you craft a strategy that is aligned to your company’s core? How do you explain your work to internal and external audiences? How do your garner support from your senior leaders? How do you raise awareness? How do you engage your employees? How do you justify your budget? How? How? How? How? How? When we asked Corporate Responsibility professionals to tell us what keeps them up at night, these were the questions that came up over and over. The “how” questions.

The answers to these questions aren’t easy. In fact, in many cases the answer is “It depends”. Not what you wanted to hear, but certainly the truth. There are no simple solutions. The fact is the business of corporate responsibility is complex. Not only is there the issue of the mechanics of how you get it done, there is also the issue of how you relate it back to your organization. Both sides of the equation are equally important. And from what you told us when we asked, both can be vexing. To address these questions and more, ACCP: The Conference 2017 will focus on The Business of Corporate Responsibility.

The Conference will explore the ‘how’ of working across your organization and the ‘how’ of linking what you do to your company’s core reason for being. ACCP: The Conference features General Sessions, Learning Labs, Workshops, and The Masters’ Series. General Sessions are open to all registered attendees of The Conference. You can expect that The Conference General Sessions will have broad appeal and will be an opportunity to hear from speakers of note. Be prepared to be inspired! Learning Labs are 60 minute sessions. Learning Labs give you an opportunity to drill down into a topic in a small group setting and allow you to walk away with knowledge you can put into action.

The Masters’ Series, started in 2015, is held during the Learning Lab sessions. The Masters’ Series features senior leaders in Corporate Responsibility talking candidly about their experience in an intimate setting. You never know what you might hear or learn from one of our featured speakers, but you can be certain it will be insightful. Workshops are your opportunity to get hands on. You will select your workshop when you select Learning Labs. Workshops are designed to take you through an exercise and give you the practical experience needed to successfully navigate from point A to point B.
