EarthShare: One Environment. One Simple Way to Care for it
EarthShare is a national nonprofit that’s worked for more than 20 years to connect people and organizations with effective ways to support critical environmental causes. Its mission: To engage individuals and organizations in creating a healthy and sustainable environment.
Each year the EarthShare @ Work connects hundreds of thousands of individuals with environmental and conservation charities through employee engagement and giving campaigns at public and private sector workplaces across the country. Since it's inception EarthShare has raised more than $300 million in support of organizations working to protect air, land, wildlife, and public health. Today, EarthShare supports more than 500 local, national, and international environment nonprofit organizations across the country.
This special series of articles, commentary and interviews will focus on pushing the dialogue on employee engagement, workplace giving, sustainability a culture of responsibility and much more. Co-written by members of the EarthShare team and CEO Kal Stein, this series will ask questions, provide best practices and analyze how businesses can best partner with their workforce and nonprofit partners to protect our shared environment.
