James Temple is the Director of Corporate Responsibility for PwC Canada and has a dual role leading the PricewaterhouseCoopers Canada Foundation. In this capacity, James provides oversight to the Canadian Firm’s internal Corporate Responsibility strategy, representing the ways PwC integrates good social, environmental and economic values into its business operations.
Speaking on issues related to corporate responsibility around the world, James has been a featured presenter at the 2011 World Volunteer Forum, International Corporate Citizenship Conference, Philanthropic Foundations of Canada Conference, and Canadian Business and Community Partnership Forum.
He serves as Co-Chair of the Association of Corporate Grantmakers, and is on Advisory Councils for the YMCA, Sheena's Place, Dress for Success, the Institute at Havergal College and the Ontario Association of Food Banks.
James holds a degree in Geographic Analysis from Ryerson University, a Certificate in Advertising and Media from the Canadian Marketing Association and is a monthly columnist for Canadian Fundraising & Philanthropy.
