HP released its 2014 Living Progress Report, which describes HP’s global citizenship policies, programs, and performance through the company’s fiscal year 2014. This is HP’s 14th year of reporting on its sustainability and citizenship progress, building on a commitment HP articulated in its company objectives in 1957 and have reaffirmed every year since.

It’s the framework the company uses as it develops its products, services and solutions, manages its operations, and drives interactions with its customers, partners and communities. The 2014 Living Progress Report demonstrates how HP brings together people and technology to advance human, economic and environmental progress across the world.

• HP is responding to the rapid data explosion by revolutionizing the way computing happens—solving the space, cost and energy constraints that threaten progress.
• HP is creating—and enforcing— industry-leading guidelines and policies that respect human rights for all, including students and foreign migrant workers.
• HP is the first global information technology company to set GHG emissions-reductions goals for all three parts of its value chain by adding an ambitious products goal.
• Through an innovative partnership with Kiva, the HP Company Foundation is providing HP employees with millions to loan to small business owners, worldwide.
