SABMiller has announced it is scaling up its globally-recognised sustainable development programmes with ambitious new targets. These targets build on strong achievements set out in its 2014 Sustainable Development (SD) Summary Report, available online at www.sabmiller.com/prosper.

The SD report introduces SABMiller’s new sustainable development ambition, Prosper, which is the latest evolution of the company’s approach to SD and is central to SABMiller’s business strategy. At its heart is supporting the role small businesses play around the world in generating economic growth and reducing poverty. SABMiller is using its value chains from farmers to retailers to drive inclusive growth, sustainable resource use and alcohol responsibility through its five shared imperatives:
