On Earth Day, April 22, 2014, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT) released its inaugural corporate responsibility report, "Global Citizenship at Starwood." This first report recaps Starwood's 2012-2013 Global Citizenship initiatives, and outlines Starwood's continuing commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship, community involvement, opportunities for associate development, and best practices in corporate governance.

The report was compiled using the Global Reporting Initiative's (GRI) G4 framework as a guide and contains Standard Disclosures from the GRI Sustainability Reporting Guidelines, including information on Starwood's corporate governance practices.
