Description

One-Year Sustainable MBA
Duquesne's innovative 1-year MBA Sustainability degree goes far beyond
like-minded programs. Rather than a collection of add-on sustainability
electives, Duquesne offers an internationally-accredited MBA that
integrates global best practices in financial, social and environmental
responsibility with traditional business disciplines. Our world-renown
faculty built sustainability and ethics considerations into all core
coursework: accounting, finance, marketing, operations, information
technology, and Economics.
Global Study
Hosted by leading corporations such as Bayer, RWE, Panasonic, Toyota and
PricewaterhouseCoopers, our global study trips introduce students to
groundbreaking approaches to sustainability in Europe and Asia. They
observe today’s innovations in action that will become the best
practices of future. They also provide ample opportunity for professional
networking with employers and likeminded students abroad.
Concentrations
All Duquesne MBA Sustainability students earn a concentration in
sustainability. They may also pursue a second, optional concentration in
finance, supply chain or environmental science. Electives may also be used
for further exploration of any business discipline, or taken from nearly
any Duquesne graduate-level course.
Accreditation
Accredited by AACSB International, Duquesne's MBA Sustainability
curriculum has scored high rankings from the Aspen Institute and others
for its fully integrated design. Duquesne/Donahue Graduate Business
Program ranks No. 8 in the Global Top 100, a ranking produced as part of
the Aspen Institute's biennial Beyond Grey Pinstripes survey. Among
schools of comparable size, Duquesne ranked #1 worldwide.
Ethics Leader
A study by Academy of Management Learning and Education, a well-regarded
interdisciplinary management journal, ranks Duquesne's John F. Donahue
Graduate School of Business as one of only three U.S. schools scoring in
the highest category of ethics content in a broad academic survey.
