Description
Connecting People, Saving Rivers
River Network's mission is to help people understand, protect and restore
rivers and their watersheds. Since 1988, River Network has provided
resources and technical expertise to help groups get started, organize,
grow stronger, and become more effective in the protection and restoration
of their rivers and watersheds.
Our nationwide network now consists of thousands of organizations. They
include grassroots watershed associations, statewide conservation groups,
large river basin groups, Native American tribes, fishing and boating
associations, businesses, state and federal governmental agencies and
other national environmental organizations. River Network helps them and
their work benefits hundreds of millions of people from coast to coast.
River Network provides a much needed service for the conservation
community. By providing information, training, consultation and
connections, we enhance the individual and collective efforts of thousands
of other organizations. Our work is truly helping build a powerful new
watershed protection movement in the United States.
