Global Impact, a U.S. nonprofit with expertise in brokering corporate-nonprofit partnerships and enhancing employee engagement, has teamed up with Skills4Good, a social purpose organization based in Toronto, Canada. Global Impact will use its extensive knowledge of the U.S. nonprofit sector to identify new nonprofit partners that Skills4Good can add to its roster of volunteer opportunities for U.S.-based employees.

Skills4Good helps companies win the war for talent through skills-based volunteering. At the same time, it helps nonprofits build capacity and increase board diversity. This is achieved through its innovative matchmaking platform that matches employees with nonprofit boards and board committees. Its board matching services are free of charge to nonprofits. Additionally, Skills4Good helps companies and nonprofits achieve the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals by matching talent with purpose. “Skills4Good is excited to have Global Impact as its nonprofit partner. This partnership allows us to amplify the social impact of skills-based volunteering at an international scale,” said Josephine Yam, CEO & co-founder of Skills4Good.

Skills4Good will leverage Global Impact’s extensive network and knowledge of the nonprofit sector in the United States. This will enable Skills4Good to expand its matchmaking platform to companies in key cities in the United States. “Skills4Good has a unique model for improving corporate employee engagement and Global Impact is excited to be supporting their U.S. expansion,” said Scott Jackson, president and CEO of Global Impact. “Companies today are increasingly looking for ways to engage employees and offering a dynamic skills-based volunteer program is a great way to do that.”
