NEW YORK, Jun. 21 /CSRwire/ -  World Energy Forum is holding a high-level international conference of thought leaders and experts from all energy sectors commemorating 10th anniversary of the founding of World Energy Forum under the banner of Energy for All. This timely world event will take place August 10-13, 2018 at Ordos International Convention and Exhibition Center in Inner Mongolia, China, with a three-day program of high-level round tables, plenaries, network events, and site visits.

Supported and approved by the Government of People’s Republic of China and hosted by Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region People’s Government, the participants include top leaders of the governments, international organizations, business, and academia. Honorable Madam Chair Bu Xiaolin of the Inner Mongolia Government says, “We welcome World Energy Forum 2018 in Inner Mongolia where manifold planetary issues are being played out as a major energy producing region. We value this wonderful opportunity to share with global experts and thought leaders on innovations, advanced technology, and best practices that can profoundly impact the energy and environmental practices here in Inner Mongolia, China, and the world.”

World Energy Forum 2018 will exchange new ideas on global energy issues of paramount importance which will include discussions highlighting national and international policies, technological advancement, and business and industry opportunities while exploring ways to strengthen public-private partnerships across diverse sectors of energy. “Energy is foundational to the hopes and aspirations of all humanity,” said Dr. Harold Hyun Suk Oh, Chairman of the Board and President of World Energy Forum. “Poverty eradication largely depends on energy availability. Access to modern energy services is essential to economic, social and human development across the globe.”

A comprehensive gathering of global leaders and experts is critical in a world where energy manifests itself dramatically diverse ways, and the availability of resources such as solar, wind, fuel, gas, biomass, and hydropower is geographically configured. Since energy is a discipline so broad and planetary, the solution should be approached in multidisciplinary and inclusive ways involving individuals of all walk of life, families, communities, nations and peoples throughout the world to reach the full potential for understanding and solving complex global issues in energy and environment.

“World Energy Forum is a call for a global action. Today our generation presides over an important juncture in human history when we are facing serious planetary challenges. Economic, social, and environmental choices we make now will greatly impact us as well as those who will inherit the planet. The world is searching for answers to guide us to the future. World Energy Forum seeks to facilitate answers and provide the road map,” says Dr. Oh.
