Mr. Barton brings twenty years of technology industry experience as a highly successful entrepreneur and growth executive. Prior to joining YourCause, Mr. Barton co-founded Bazaarvoice, a pioneer in the field of social commerce. From 2005 to 2012, when Bazaarvoice completed a successful IPO, the company grew to over 750 global employees and more than 700 active clients, representing leading brands across the retail, consumer products, travel and leisure, financial services, and technology industries. During the company’s rapid growth, Mr. Barton served in multiple executive leadership roles, initially leading the products and services teams and then the development of the company’s extensive network of agency and technology partners. He last served as General Manager of the company’s media services business unit.

As Chief Strategy Officer, he will leverage this perspective and his experience as a technology innovator to bring new products, services, and capabilities to market to deliver greater business value and social impact to YourCause clients, employees, and nonprofit partners.
