At a time when corporations are experiencing a global crisis in consumer trust, author Russ Stoddard chronicles a revolution in business with the release of his new book, Rise Up—How to Build a Socially Conscious Business.
A special, early edition edition of Rise Up is now available for purchase at www.russstoddard.com. The book, which is being published by Elevate Publishing, will be released nationally in September 2017.
Rise Up—How to Build a Socially Conscious Business—provides social entrepreneurs with a helpful guide and sets the stage for a powerful business trend where companies create profit for stakeholders through products, services, and business models that create social impact and public benefit alongside a financial return.
With people increasingly disillusioned with business as usual, Stoddard charts a course for a new breed of socially conscious companies that is changing how consumers shop, where employees work, and the way the world does business.
"Russ Stoddard is a master storyteller and in Rise Up he has used those skills to create a handbook for all those who know that the businesses that do best are those businesses that do good," said Andrei Cherny, CEO & Co-Founder of Aspiration.
With more than 25 years running a Certified B Corporation that has always had social responsibility at its core, Stoddard offers insights and guidance on how to create a socially conscious business, as well as encouraging words for social entrepreneurs of every generation.
“Whether you are an aspiring entrepreneur, an employee, or a consumer (yup – basically anyone), this book is for you,” said Kate Williams, CEO, 1% for the Planet.
