Last week, VolunteerMatch, the web's largest volunteer engagement network, recognized eight companies and organizations for their transformational work related to volunteerism and cross-sector collaboration at an awards ceremony.

The awards ceremony took place on October 25, 2016 during VM Summit 16. VM Summit, VolunteerMatch’s annual conference on corporate volunteerism, brings nonprofits and companies together in the same room to elevate the conversation around cross-sector partnerships and volunteerism.

“The vision of VM Summit 16 is to encourage new connections, empower effective partnerships across sectors, and create inspiration,” says Bree von Faith, event manager for VM Summit 16 and director of marketing and engagement at VolunteerMatch. “The award winners embody this vision in many ways, but particularly, by inspiring us all with their innovative and community-focused volunteer programs.”
