The Companies Vs. Climate Change Conference will welcome Alaska, JetBlue and United Airlines for a panel on December 2 in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

www.solveclimatechange.com This is the first-ever conference focused on bringing together companies from around the world to discuss climate change and how they can work together to address it.

The two airlines will discuss sustainability efforts and operational efficiencies within the airline industry.   This comes on the heels of the ground-breaking agreement by the International Civil Aviation Organization (IACO) to cap carbon-dioxide emissions at 2020, by 2035, bringing together 64 countries representing 80 percent of global air traffic.

The presentation by Sara Lindenfeld, sustainability analyst at JetBlue, will include an overview of the airline’s sustainability platform and its efforts to address climate change. The panel will also include a conversation between Jacqueline Drumheller, Sustainability Manager at Alaska Airlines, Aaron Stash, Manager - Environmental Strategy and Sustainability at United Airlines and Ms. Lindenfeld, to discuss industry best practices and the future regulatory environment.

The conversation plenary will open the third day of the conference which will bring together leading sustainability experts and corporate leaders to connect around climate change solutions.
