How to Build a Purpose-driven Company, Part Three: Share It

How to Build a Purpose-driven Company, Part Three: Share It

Published 12-02-15

Submitted by Oliver Russell

Oliver Russell has completed a three-part white paper series that provides a blueprint for building purpose-driven companies. Titled “Share It,” the final installment outlines the processes, tools, and audiences that will help spread the word about your company’s work and values.

“For a purpose-driven brand, the end of this series is really your beginning,” said Russ Stoddard, founder and president of Oliver Russell. “You’ve done a lot of the heavy lifting up to this point, and now the journey gets interesting—and perhaps even more rewarding—as you set out to share your purpose.”

In the previous installments, part one outlined the initial steps around building and positioning your brand, while part two described a proper, purposeful validation process that lends credence to your work.

“If you’ve made it this far, purpose is now your product,” said Stoddard. “And as with any product, you need to market it and you need to sell it. This will help differentiate your brand and spread the idea of using your business as a force for good.”
