Efforts ranging from rescuing Syrian refugees to the charitable interests of a former Miss Universe are now being bolstered by custom fundraising tools called Signature Funds. 

Increasingly, corporate philanthropy has become more targeted and charity fundraising efforts have become more issue-driven. In response, Global Impact is working with several organizations to create custom Signature Funds that help both sectors accomplish their goals. These platforms help corporations, nonprofits, and individuals support specific international causes, inspire audiences worldwide, and raise support and visibility for work that brings change to communities around the globe.

Recent Signature Funds include:

• MOAS (Migrant Offshore Aid Station) is at the heart of the migrant crisis in Europe, using their 130-foot boat to carry out search and rescue operations and, in coordination with Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières, deliver post-rescue care to people stranded in the Mediterranean. Based in Malta, MOAS has engaged Global Impact to serve as its 501(c)(3) partner in the United States. The MOAS Signature Fund provides U.S. donors with a tax-deductible way to help save lives at sea. 

• GoPro for a Cause connects an exciting corporate brand to the causes about which they are passionate. By vetting and featuring a different organization each month, the campaign inspires action and drives donations towards the life-changing work that each charity partner is leading.  
• Universe of Blessings connects Miss Universe 2013, Gabriela Isler, with donors who care deeply about supporting the foundation’s work to decrease rates of adolescent pregnancy, combat human trafficking, and support educational programs. This fund allows donations to be distributed to organizations worldwide, including in Ms. Isler’s native Venezuela. Global Impact is also serving as the 501(c)(3) agent for this foundation. 

Global Impact’s customizable online platform accepts and distributes donations in more than 120 currencies. Donations are accepted via credit card, check and e-check, wire transfer, donor-advised fund, and employee payroll deduction.
