TruValue Labs has announced a major update to Insight360, the only technology-based platform offering real-time environmental, social, and governance (ESG) and sustainability data. The new release has substantially increased the coverage Insight360 is able to offer, from the 500 largest companies to now over 5,000 publicly traded companies in the United States, representing all companies that are traded on the NYSE and NASDAQ exchanges.

“We had customer interest in increasing the number of companies we cover. This was a challenge we were happy to take on, as Insight360 is a technological, and thus scalable, solution,” said Phil Kim, Chief Product Officer at TruValue Labs. “Since we don’t depend on analysts to provide our research, once the correct architecture is in place it’s possible to continue expanding coverage in this exponential fashion wherever sufficient public data on companies exists.”

“That’s not to suggest we could just flip this switch for the expansion, of course.” Kim continued, “In addition to making sure our platform is able to accurately recognize this huge new tranche of companies, we found that we needed to expand our data ingestion in order to be sure we captured the wide range of sources that would allow us to provide sufficient data coverage for the newly covered companies. As a result, we now cover over 1,500 sources and are able to ingest additional data according to client demand.”

As part of this major Insight360 release, a flexible platform was developed to allow parallel data ingestion processes to operate simultaneously, providing an exponential increase in the number of data sources being able to be used as inputs. This now includes data sources that are primarily quantitative, which are being used as data inputs in both the Governance and Environmental sustainability categories, displayed within a new and intuitive company view page.

The new platform was developed in a way that also allows it to capture historical data for the newly covered companies, while also making it possible going forward to continuously add both newly available and backdated data as required.
