The annual Global Philanthropy Forum Conference, kicking off this week in Washington, D.C., will focus on global challenges where business, philanthropy and government have clear positive roles to play — both separately and collectively.

Top philanthropists, social investors, business executives and government leaders will convene from April 22 through April 24 to consider methods for combating some of the world’s greatest social issues. Program tracks and working groups will focus on cleaning up supply chains, strengthening health systems, mobilizing private capital flows for development and supporting communities in times of crisis.

Throughout the three-day conference, conversations will begin with the assumption that each individual can play a role — and that role may be one of disruptor, decision maker or both.
