A special event will be held to celebrate EmblemHealth’s support of Children’s Health Fund’s mobile medical program. Through CBS EcoMedia’s WellnessAd program, EmblemHealth will provide health care services to 250 medically underserved children in Harlem and Queens. EmblemHealth’s support will result in approximately 450 health care visits over the next year.

Following remarks at EmblemHealth Neighborhood Care in Harlem, EmblemHealth employees will volunteer at the Streetwork Project’s Harlem Center where they’ll distribute care kits and serve lunch to the youth at the Center. Children’s Health Fund created its first innovative model decades ago by building a doctor’s office on wheels that could bring healthcare to homeless children in New York City. Today, its national fleet of mobile medical clinics – the largest mobile pediatric service in the country – visits hundreds of schools and pre-K centers to provide primary care, dental services and mental health support to students who otherwise may not see a doctor or a dentist. The mobile clinics are fully equipped with examining rooms, waiting areas, a nurse's station, and a room for medical procedures.

EcoMedia

At CBS EcoMedia Inc., we have a vision: To harness the power of advertising and channel it into tangible social change.

Since the founding of the company in 2001, our team has worked tirelessly to develop and hone an advertising model that would transform this ideal into reality.

It was with great pride that in 2011 and 2012, we launched our EcoAd, WellnessAd, and EducationAd programs. These unique product offerings are based on our patent-pending ad model through which our clients, in collaboration with our wide network of non-profit partners, provide financial support for critical, yet underfunded, environmental, health, and education projects in communities nationwide.
