CARLSBAD, Calif., Apr. 01 /CSRwire/ - Servant Leadership Institute (SLI) is presenting a series of workshops focused on showcasing how servant leadership releases the true power of people, so attendees, their teams and their organizations can soar to new heights by leading in a different way. Registration for these hands-on learning experiences, which will be held from April to June at the SLI training facility, is now open. http://servantleadershipinstitute.cvent.com/workshops

The workshops are designed for supervisors, managers, and cultural architects interested in learning how to implement servant leadership and create their own action plan. Real-life stories and facilitated learning experiences taught by servant leadership trainers will form the workshops’ foundation.

Innovative companies are discovering that embracing servant leadership to influence people without using traditional power-model strategies maximizes their talents and positively affects the bottom line. Art Barter, owner and chairman of Datron World Communications, Inc. and founder and CEO of SLI, noted that the workshops have been designed to help attendees better understand how to incorporate servant leadership into their corporate cultures. “To serve for the sake of others takes learning new behaviors and re-thinking our thinking,” he noted.

Key workshop takeaways will include:

  • Recognizing how the service model of leadership achieves bottom-line results and creates more positive and happy employees
  • Learning how to use leadership tools to ensure your team’s accountability
  • Taking away practical ideas for improving your coaching to achieve better results
  • Examining the benefits of positive and constructive feedback in building a culture of trust
  • Identifying the characteristics and qualities of a servant leader
  • Using a servant leadership behavioral-based assessment tool to access strengths and determine areas for improvement
