Servant Leadership Institute (SLI) is presenting a series of workshops focused on showcasing how servant leadership releases the true power of people, so attendees, their teams and their organizations can soar to new heights by leading in a different way. The workshops are designed for supervisors, managers, and cultural architects interested in learning how to implement servant leadership and create their own action plan. Real-life stories and facilitated learning experiences taught by servant leadership trainers will form the workshops’ foundation.
Innovative companies are discovering that embracing servant leadership to influence people without using traditional power-model strategies maximizes their talents and positively affects the bottom line. Art Barter, owner and chairman of Datron World Communications, Inc. and founder and CEO of SLI, noted that the workshops have been designed to help attendees better understand how to incorporate servant leadership into their corporate cultures. “To serve for the sake of others takes learning new behaviors and re-thinking our thinking,” he noted.

Jeanne McGuire
Senior Servant Leadership Trainer, Servant Leadership Institute
Jeanne McGuire has experience in organizational development consulting, coaching, and training and is a Certified Change Management expert. To ensure skill training that accelerates the achievement of business objectives, she has designed 45 training programs and directly trained more than 30,000 individuals. At SLI, she has been achieving profound transformations of organizational cultures by teaching the principles of servant leadership.
Jeanne began her career in economic and employment training research; her designs for public/private sector employment partnerships for Boston and Tampa received recognition from the President’s Commission on Employment Policy and Stanford Research Institute. Jeanne has been an instructor at Boston University Education Center and UC San Diego’s Business Extension School, and has lectured on models of motivation and training for a diverse work force at Harvard University’s School of Social Planning, the National Vocational Center at Ohio State University, the University of Rome (Italy), and other academic and corporate institutions.
Rodney Jackson
Senior Servant Leadership Trainer, Servant Leadership Institute
Rodney Jackson has an extensive background as an executive and seasoned professional in organizational change, leadership development, operations, and human resources. Over the past two decades, Rodney designed and delivered experiential learning programs to improve business performance through a blended learning strategy of leadership development, training, coaching, and in-house executive sponsorship and mentoring. His success is built on years of operational experience, serving as National Training Manager, Human Resources Director, Director of Learning and Development, and Executive Director at major corporations.
Rodney earned his MA in organizational design and effectiveness from the Fielding Institute in Santa Barbara and a BA in organizational communication from the University of Texas at Austin. He is certified in Situational Leadership II, Team Management Systems (TMS), Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Targeted Selection (PDI), 360-Degree Feedback (DDI), and The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People (Franklin-Covey).
