In order to be recognized as a Certified B Corporation, Y Scouts had to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance. To achieve the B Corporation certification, Y Scouts completed an assessment process established by B Lab, the B Corporation certification body. The assessment included frank disclosure of information relating to Y Scouts management and operations including its governance, workplace culture and employee benefits, environmental practices and community engagement.
