WASHINGTON, Dec. 05 /CSRwire/ - White House Council on Environmental Quality Chair Nancy Sutley announced that she will be stepping down in February 2014. The following statement may be attributed to Richard Eidlin, Policy Director of the American Sustainable Business Council:
“White House Council on Environmental Quality Chair Nancy Sutley has been an outstanding leader within the Administration in promoting effective environmental policy and recognizing that economic prosperity and environmental stewardship are complementary goals. Under Ms. Sutley, CEQ has distinguished itself by working collaboratively with the business community to find workable solutions to some of the nation’s most pressing issues. We wish her well. Her leadership will be missed.”
