'Yearbook 2013/14 - Beyond borders'

In face of shifting economies and global needs and after six years of consecutive publishing success, Global Sustain once more lays the foundations for a constructive dialogue, highlighting critical issues. This year, Global Sustain chose for its 7th Yearbook the theme "Beyond Borders," because today more than ever the intensifying globalisation of the world’s economies has made extroversion and international business involvement particularly relevant in terms of national and global prosperity.

Modern “colonialism”, through export activities, is gaining momentum as a major source of economic growth. Empirical evidence show that embracing responsible extroversion brings competitiveness in international markets, high value added products and services and ability to develop synergies. In times like these, extroverted orientation on every level is needed in order to embrace change and leverage natural, human and financial capital.

This Yearbook will address among others the following topics:

  • Exporting activity (products and services) and economic performance
  • Exporting know-how (innovation and human capital) and value creation
  • The role of financial institutions in supporting extroversion
  • Responsible supply chain in a global marketplace
  • Extroversion e"‘ffects on global sustainability
  • Business colonialism and human rights
  • Partnerships building among countries and corporations
  • Addressing global risks through responsible investing
  • International development and social impact
  • Corporate citizenship in underserved markets
  • Organisational excellence in building global enterprises
  • International collaboration for universal sustainability issues
  • Assessing a company's / organisation's geographical footprint
  • Coping with diversity in a globalised environment
  • Exporting sustainable tourism

The 7th Yearbook will future leading CEO’s, export and extrovert driven corporations and organisations from all around the world leading the way in extroversion and sustainability. There will be viewpoints of top experts, decision-makers, policy formers, top university professors, Nobel Laureates, gurus and community leaders who will share their vision and expertise regarding this timely subject, with a global audience.

The publication will be released in June and presented at a global audience in special events.

The deadline for expression of interest to participate expires on December 20, 2013.
