STAMFORD, Conn., Mar. 19 /CSRwire/ - The evolution of integrated reporting is expected to accelerate over the coming year thanks to several significant developments. A growing number of companies are grappling with questions of how to connect disclosure of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance with financial results, while several multi-stakeholder organizations are preparing to release new guidelines.

To help companies prepare for this transition—the most significant development in ESG reporting since the advent of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)—Framework LLC will present Integrated Reporting: On-the-Ground Perspectives to share up-to-the-moment practices and trends. The webinar will be held on Wednesday, March 27 from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM EDT.

Featuring representatives of the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC), Covanta Energy, and the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), this webinar will include first-hand experiences and newly gleaned best practices from participants in the IIRC Pilot Programme, among other insights. There will also be a question-and-answer session to address attendees’ interests and concerns.

Presenters:

  • Aleksandra Dobkowski-Joy, Principal at Framework LLC, will host and present an overview of best practices and key integrated disclosure criteria for companies to focus on based on new research conducted by Framework.
  • Michael Van Brunt, Director of Sustainability at Covanta Energy, will share insights gained in the preparation of the company’s 2010/2011 Corporate Sustainability Report, including a discussion of how financial linkages were established for sustainability goals and targets.
  • Ricky Cronin, IIRC Relationships Manager, will reveal best practices based on the experiences of IIRC Pilot Programme participants and discuss the draft integrated reporting framework the organization will release in April 2013.
  • Marisa Mackey, Associate Director of Education at SASB, will present how SASB is playing a key role in helping drive the integration of financial and ESG disclosure in the United States, including how companies can get involved in determining sector-based material issues.

Register today for this webinar; space is limited. This discussion is designed to be informative and provide actionable insights for any organization regardless of its current stage of reporting.
