The online polls have closed and after an all-time high of 90,357 votes were cast, the finalists in the fifth annual Corporate Citizenship Film Festival have been chosen from a record 74 entries. In alphabetical order, here are the 10 finalists who will vie for the Center’s 2013 Film Festival Award:

  • Aetna Inc.
  • Amway
  • AT&T
  • DellHilton Worldwide
  • Humana Inc.
  • Mary Kay Inc.
  • Sabre Holdings
  • The Dow Chemical Company
  • UPS

This year’s competition attracted global interest, with submissions from as far away as Saudi Arabia. Companies that participated in the film festival clearly demonstrated that video is an effective vehicle to tell their corporate citizenship stories to internal and external audiences. The video submissions depicted a wide range of  corporate citizenship efforts such as healthcare access, volunteerism, environmental impacts of products and services, unemployment and chronic disease.

If you did not get an opportunity to watch the video submissions all 74 entries can still be viewed on the 2013 Film Festival page of the Center website. The 10 video finalists will be reviewed by a panel of judges who will choose the winner during the 2013 International Corporate Citizenship Conference in Boston on April 22. All 10 finalist videos will be available for viewing by the more than 600 professionals attending the conference.
