Green Festival, the nation’s premier green living event, returns to San Francisco on November 10-11, 2012 at the San Francisco Concourse Exhibition Center. The Festival will host 150 eco-innovators, renowned speakers, performers, community leaders, local green business experts and young entrepreneurs. A new Yoga & Movement Pavilion will feature teachers from Bay Area’s favorite studios.

Green Festival is the largest marketplace of conscious businesses and exhibitors, who are chosen for their commitment to social justice, sustainability and ecological balance and the number one place to find the latest in sustainable products and Fair Trade gifts perfect for holiday shopping.

Since its inception in 2001, the Green Festival has grown and is well-known for providing a solutions-based forum to discover more ways to green your life and get information on the environmental and social justice issues facing our communities.” according to co-founder and activist Kevin Danaher.

Green Festival attendees will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite non-profit project at the FORD Community Green Grants Booth during show hours. A $5,000 grant will be awarded on Sunday, November 11th.

“Over the years we have seen the Festival grow and evolve along with the community, helping to educate and shape the critical discussions ,which support people to make healthy choices and make a difference in all of our lives.” said Denise Hamler, Green Festival Director.
