About the Bard MBA in Sustainability
The Bard MBA is one of a handful of programs around the world that focus on the business case for sustainability, integrating economic, environmental, and social objectives to create successful businesses that build a more sustainable world. The low-residency program, based in New York City, is structured around monthly weekend intensives. Classes take place over four days, beginning Friday morning and ending Monday afternoon. Students also attend online classes Tuesday and Thursday evenings during the semester. The program provides a rigorous education in core business principles, as well as sustainable business practices, with a focus throughout on economics, environment, and social equity. Graduates of the Bard MBA program will transform existing companies, start their own, and pioneer new ways of doing business that will meet human needs while protecting and restoring the earth’s natural systems.
