EuroCharity is proud to be presenting its research findings conducted by interns and university students focusing on Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainability, Business Ethics and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) at an informational event to be held in Athens, in close collaboration with leading Greek universities.

The event will be held at the Cultural Centre of the University of Athens - Kostis Palamas Building, a multipurpose cultural centre as well as professors' and students' lounge located in the heart of Athens, on Thursday, April 19, 2012 between 10:30 - 13:00.

A series of surveys and research results aiming at mapping sustainability in Greece will be presented to EuroCharity's members, senior corporate executives, NGO leaders, the academic community and the media, with a special emphasis on the trends and issues surrounding Corporate Social Responsibility, the Green Economy and Citizen Sector.

The research findings conducted by interns working for EuroCharity over a timespan of a year as well as selected university students will focus on the following topics:

  • A comprehensive survey on Corporate Social Responsibility in Greece, in collaboration with the Department of Statistics at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), a leading European Business School.
  • A comprehensive survey on Greece's Green Economy, in collaboration with the Department of Statistics at the AUEB.
  • A comprehensive survey on Greek NGOs, in collaboration with AUEB's Department of Statistics.
  • The results of part of an Educational Internship Activity focusing on Corporate Social Responsibility and Business Ethics, researched by the students of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Unit of the Research Committee at the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences.
  • A multi-criteria evaluation of Corporate Social Responsibility and its impact on business performance, in collaboration with the Production Engineering and Management Department at the Technical University of Crete.
