Framework, a leading consultancy that helps clients integrate sustainability principles into business strategy to build brand value and  enhance profitability, has named Aleksandra Dobkowski-Joy partner in the firm.

With nearly a decade of experience in sustainability consulting, seven of those at Framework, Aleksandra has thrived on leading large, complex projects and delivering award-winning sustainability reports for clients. Her leadership in developing strategic solutions has included the creation of proprietary tools and methodologies, including Framework’s materiality analysis protocol and GRI compare process. She continues to oversee original research into sustainability strategy and communications, and to provide direct counsel and advice to multinational companies representing the food, information technology, consumer products, construction, and airline industries.

Aleksandra’s career began at the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), where she managed beyond compliance programs such as Project XL and Performance Track for EPA’s Region 2 offices in New York City, activities for which she received the EPA’s bronze medal commendation. Trained as a scientist and holding a Master of Environmental Management degree from Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment, Aleksandra’s extensive network spans corporate sustainability practitioners, service providers, and fellow colleagues in pursuit of a sustainable world.

Aleksandra lives in New Haven, Connecticut, with her husband Chris Joy, her twin sons, and a dog named Apple.
