/PRNewswire/ - CA Technologies (NASDAQ: CA) today announced that it has been named as a component of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI) World Index and North America Index.

The Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes track the financial performance of companies across all industries that outperform their peers in numerous sustainability metrics. The DJSI World Index represents the top 10 percent of the largest 2,500 companies in the Dow Jones Global Total Stock Market Index, and the DJSI North America index represents the top 20 percent of the largest 600 North American companies.

CA Technologies is one of 41 companies added this year to the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World), while 23 firms were deleted. In total, there are now 342 components in the index. CA Technologies also is one of 20 companies named to the North American Index while 12 companies were deleted. The index will now have 143 components. All changes will become effective with the open of the stock markets on September 19, 2011.
