City National Bank to Donate $1,500 to Ashland Community Kitchen, Inc. in Honor of City Cares Award Winner Lori Cooksey

/PRNewswire/ - City National Bank, headquartered in Charleston, announced today that Regional Retail Manager Lori Cooksey is one of the bank's City Cares community service award winners for 2011.
Cooksey was nominated by her peers for her involvement in several organizations, most notably the Ashland Rotary and the Community Kitchen. As a City Cares winner, she requested that City National's $1,500 donation in her name be made to Ashland Community Kitchen, Inc., a community service organization providing hot, nutritious meals for those in need.
"Lori is making a difference by helping others - especially those in need," said Faye Powell, a co-worker of Cooksey. "Her focus has been on making a 'hands on' difference by helping to feed the hungry and providing clothing and gifts to needy children. She inspires others to participate and make a difference."

Cooksey and four other City Cares winners were recognized at the bank's annual meeting held on April 27, 2011 in Charleston. City National will donate $1,500 in honor of each of the five City Cares winners.
