WASHINGTON, D.C., Mar. 21 /CSRwire/ - The tenth annual Charities@Work conference will feature presentations on employee engagement, volunteerism and workplace giving April 5-7, 2011 at the Conrad Hotel in Chicago, http://bit.ly/dSEJ1X. This year's conference theme is "A New Way Forward: Engaging Employees with Innovative Programs."

This premier networking event focuses on the trends, best practices and innovations in a variety of employee engagement programs including volunteerism, social media strategies and latest industry trends. Participants have the opportunity to share ideas and network with other professionals while staying current on the hot topics and best models of employee engagement initiatives.
The corporate representatives on the Best Practices Advisory Council guide the planning of the seminar to ensure it meets the needs of corporations. Current members for 2011 include representatives from Accenture, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, FINRA, JPMorgan Chase, Thomson Reuters and Zurich in North America. This year's topics include maximizing the effectiveness of employee engagement programs, implementing the latest technology to support your program, and understanding the sustainability and viability of employee programs. Additionally, guest speakers will address how programs are evolving through a growing emphasis on corporate social responsibility as well as the changing face of corporate philanthropy.
The seminar attracts more than 75 thought leaders in the area of corporate social responsibility from across the country and provides a unique opportunity to interact with a group of dedicated professionals who come together to learn and share new ideas about effective workplace philanthropy.
