Bacardi Limited, the world's largest privately-held spirits company, has highlighted progress made on its social and environmental impacts in its third Corporate Responsibility (CR) Report.

The report, entitled 'Spirit for Life,' focuses on global environmental efficiencies, increased engagement with responsible suppliers, an expansion of the Bermuda-based company's award-winning "Champions Drink Responsibly" campaign, and its active role in helping local communities through employee volunteer projects.

Among areas highlighted in the document is a drive to reduce energy and resource use, which has led to a year-over-year 8.6 per cent improvement in water use efficiency and a 5.9 per cent improvement in energy efficiency, totaling 16.6 percent over the past four years.
