Global law firm Linklaters has published its 2010 Corporate Responsibility Report. The Executive Briefing for the report is available at http://ethicalperformance.com/reports/link/link10-exec and the full report is online at http://ethicalperformance.com/reports/links/link10-full.

This is the third year the firm has publicly reported on its corporate responsibilities and has had the report assured in line with the AA1000 international assurance standard. The report outlines Linklaters' approach, achievements and targets for corporate responsibility in relation to its clients, its people, community investment and the environment.

Linklaters has offices in 19 countries and is the only global law firm to produce an individual report covering local activity in each country or region (15 country reports covering Western Europe, Emerging Europe, the Americas and the Middle East and a regional report covering Asia). The office and region reports are available at http://ethicalperformance.com/reports/links/link10-world.

The main report shows that the firm has made 'good progress' on various tangible measures. 41 per cent of Linklaters' people across the firm volunteered last year, and at least 15 per cent in every office globally. The firm supported 374 community organizations, directly benefiting 17,700 people, and also allocated £2.5m in cash to community organizations and charities globally.

Over the three years that Linklaters has been publicly reporting, it has reduced its carbon dioxide emissions by 30 per cent, its paper use by 50 per cent and its waste by 30 per cent.

More information on the firm's CR performance and reporting is available at http://ethicalperformance.com/reports/link/link10-trust.
