/PRNewswire/ - When the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition team needed the nation's premier total classroom solutions supplier to help rebuild a preschool for an upcoming episode, they turned to HATCH, Inc.. HATCH was chosen as the primary provider of early childhood education supplies and technology for the rebuild of The Lighthouse School in Nashville, TN. The episode will air on ABC at 8:00 p.m. EST on Sunday, November 14.

After the devastating flood in May 2010, much of "Music City" was left under water. Although eight of the buildings at The Lighthouse School were damaged beyond repair, the Sweatt family who operates the school provided shelter, food, water, clothing, counseling and myriad social and financial services to the community recovery effort. Now the Nashville community, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and the HATCH team have joined forces to rebuild the school.

"Providing a turnkey classroom solution came naturally. Hatch provides Instant Classroom solutions that transform an empty room into a classroom ready for learning in one day," said Ginny Norton, HATCH President.

In an effort to provide a similar experience to another deserving preschool, HATCH will award a technology makeover to the winner of an online contest. Preschool teachers nationwide can register to win at www.hatchearlychildhood.com/extreme.

HATCH provides research-based products to preschools to prepare children for kindergarten. Innovative education technology solutions such the TeachSmart® Learning System and the new iStartSmart™ Computer Learning System have made HATCH the nation's leader in appropriate technology for early childhood classrooms.
