New to the BSR Conference 2010, I3 plenary presentations feature speakers whose vision reflects the 2010 Conference theme, "Innovate. Integrate. Inspire." Presentations--by the Museum of Modern Art's Paola Antonelli, Women for Women International's Zainab Salbi, and The 99 comic creator Naif A. Al-Mutawa--are scheduled for the 25 minutes preceding each morning plenary address.

"With their unique stories and perspectives, these speakers will inspire and engage the audience, encouraging Conference participants to think beyond 'business as usual,'" said BSR Conference Director Pamela Ellman. "This really strikes at the heart of our theme this year: how to apply the collaborative spirit of our times toward resourceful solutions and innovative leadership."

Participants who sign up by September 15--the advance registration deadline--will have one last opportunity to save on registration for the Conference, which takes place at the Grand Hyatt New York November 2 to 5.

The I3 plenary presentations feature the following speakers:

Dr. Naif A. Al-Mutawa, Creator, The 99
A Kuwaiti clinical psychologist, Dr. Al-Mutawa is the creator of The 99, the first group of comic superheroes born of an Islamic archetype. Recently, Forbes magazine named The 99 one of the world's top 20 trends, and U.S. President Barack Obama praised Dr. Al-Mutawa as one of the most innovative of the thousands of new entrepreneurs viewed by his Presidential Summit on Entrepreneurship. Dr. Al-Mutawa also has extensive clinical experience working with former prisoners of war in Kuwait and with the Survivors of Political Torture unit of New York's Bellevue Hospital.

Paola Antonelli, Senior Curator, Architecture and Design, Museum of Modern Art
Through her exhibitions (including 200's "Design and the Elastic Mind"), teaching, and writing, Antonelli strives to promote a deeper understanding of design's transformative and constructive influence on the world. She is working on several exhibition ideas and on the book Design Bites, about basic foods taken as examples of outstanding design.

Zainab Salbi, Founder and CEO, Women for Women International
Salbi has helped 250,000 women survivors of wars access social and economic opportunities through a training program on rights awareness, vocational skills, and how to access income-generating opportunities. A World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and a member of the International Women's Forum and the Council on Foreign Relations, Salbi has been honored by former U.S. President Bill Clinton for her work in Bosnia and Herzegovina, she has been named Time magazine's "Innovator of the Month," and she has received Forbes magazine's "Trailblazer Award." Her best-selling book, Between Two Worlds: Escape from Tyranny: Growing Up in the Shadow of Saddam, describes her life in Iraq and the hold that Saddam Hussein had over her family.

The BSR Conference 2010--regularly ranked by independent analysts as one of the top corporate responsibility events globally--will give participants the chance to learn new ideas and practical solutions for sustainable business.
