WHO: Team Depot Volunteers

WHAT: September is Celebration of Service month at The Home Depot, and this year's theme is "30 Days of Green." Team Depot volunteers will complete 90 volunteer projects nationwide during the month. From building playgrounds to planting trees to refurbishing homes and community centers, Home Depot associates will use their DIY talents to make a lasting physical impact in their communities.

Each project will follow simple green guidelines to reduce waste, use environmentally-friendly materials, use less water and reduce energy use on the day of the project and into the future. The goal: to ensure that what's left behind makes a positive contribution to the local community for years to come.

The 90 projects completed during September are part of the 1,500+ volunteer projects that Team Depot will complete in 2010.
