WASHINGTON, D.C., May 04 /CSRwire/ - Strategic Sustainability Consulting (SSC) is pleased to announce the next class of its popular Green Auditor Certification Program, to be held in Washington, DC from May 26-28, 2010. Participants will learn all of the skills needed to take an organization through the Green Audit process, including:

• Determining employees' attitudes and awareness about "going green"


• Calculating a carbon footprint


• Assessing environmental strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement


• Providing relevant, cost-effective, and impactful green recommendations

In addition, participants receive premium membership in the SSC Consultant Network and unlimited support in building a sustainability consulting practice.

The Certification Program is designed for individuals with a strong knowledge of environmental issues, who have a passion for sustainability but have no formal audit training. Our Green Auditor Program runs over a 3-day period and will allow you to become a "Certified SSC Green Auditor".
