The challenges of the current economic crisis and environmental sustainability mean that businesses must act quickly to evolve in order to weather the storm and achieve long-term success. Climb the Green Ladder: Make Your Company and Career More Sustainable (Wiley, January 2010; $27.95) by Amy Fetzer and Shari Aaron shows how individuals can ensure that their company or organization saves money, reduces environmental damage and improves its performance while advancing an individual's personal reputation and furthering their career.

These and similar topics related to women's leadership in sustainability will be addressed at the upcoming Women Climbing the Green Ladder panel discussion--presented by New York Women Social Entrepreneurs (NYWSE) and Climb the Green Ladder. The event will celebrate the U.S. launch of Climb the Green Ladder and highlight women business leaders who have successfully integrated sustainability into their careers.

The panel will be moderated by Natalia Oberti Noguera, Executive Director of New York Women Social Entrepreneurs (NYWSE), and feature:

  • Shari Aaron, Founder, Climb the Green Ladder
