AJAX, Ontario, Sep. 15 /CSRwire/ - As a part of its BlueMotionTechnologies offensive, Volkswagen Canada announced today that it celebrated the first anniversary of its environmental web blog with a refreshed site that is both more user-friendly and easier to navigate for enthusiasts who want to participate in an open forum to discuss and debate current and upcoming vehicle technologies that improve fuel economy and reduce greenhouse gases.

The site, www.TDICurious.ca, offers a Comparator that allows bloggers to compare their own vehicle's fuel economy and carbon emissions against Volkswagen's TDI Clean Diesel models, a Diesel fuel Locator, and a Calculator that allows one to see how far one can go on $5 of Diesel fuel. It also provides a link to Volkswagen's social media networks with added content on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter.

TDICurious.ca was launched one year ago, and has published over 250 articles about personal transportation, alternative fuels, vehicle technologies and their impact on the environment, in both French and English. Combined with its sister French-language site, www.ParlonsTDI.ca, the sites have received over 310,000 unique page views since its introduction, making it a highly successful blog site. Part of its attraction is its motto: "On TDICurious.ca, we believe in open and authentic discussions. We publish comments immediately, without prior editing. Users are free to add their own comments, positive or negative, to further deepen the discussion."
