Johns Manville Selects GreenDriver(TM) Certification to Lower Carbon Footprint

GreenDriver, Inc. announced today that Johns Manville, a Berkshire Hathaway company and a leading manufacturer and marketer of premium-quality building products, has enrolled nearly 200 drivers in GreenDriver's online training and certification program.
"The GreenDriver training and certification program aligns nicely with our corporate sustainability initiatives," said Rob Marshall, Director of Supply Chain, Johns Manville. "By teaching our employees these practical and effective driving techniques, we expect to not only reduce our overall CO2 emissions, but improve our total cost of ownership through reduced fuel expenses."
According to the EPA, driver behavior is responsible for as much as 33% of each driver's individual fuel economy. GreenDriver teaches drivers how vehicle maintenance, trip preplanning and small behavioral changes can directly impact their carbon emissions and fuel consumption.
