On July 1, CSE North America proudly hosted its inaugural Sustainability workshop, titled "How to…Get Started with CSR: From Strategy to Reporting", in Chicago, with more than 40 prominent organizations in attendance, with representatives from Whole Foods, Armstrong, Arrowsmith, USG, University of Chicago, DePaul University, as well as a special appearance from the Director of IIT's Center for Sustainable Enterprise, Mr. George Nassos.
CSE's workshop "Become a Qualified CSR Practitioner" is approved by the leading UK Institute for Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) and is the first that delivers such a qualification for CSR/Sustainability managers internationally.
The Centre for Sustainability and Excellence (CSE) is proud to announce the "CSE Sustainability Roundtable: Moving Sustainability forward at a time of Economic Slowdown". The roundtable is an effort to engage business professionals involved in bringing Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility to their firms, and who may be tempted to abandon their aspirations of becoming more responsible and sustainable because of these tough economic times. This event will take place after day one of CSE's CSR Practitioner Training, starting at 5:45 pm at the Hotel Monaco. This event is open to all interested in Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability professionals. Write to info@cse-northamerica.org to RSVP.
