The Tower Companies Promotes Donna Nurmi to Senior Property Manager

ROCKVILLE, Md., June 23 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Tower Companies announced today that Donna Nurmi has been promoted from Property Manager to Senior Property Manager with oversight responsibilities for all building related tenant services in her portfolio which includes The Millennium Building@1909 K Street NW, which is USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council) LEED(R) certified, 1707 L Street NW, 1828 L Street NW, 1133 19th Street NW, in Washington, DC, and The Tower Building, LEED(R) Silver certified, and located in Rockville, Maryland.
Nurmi, hired by The Tower Companies as a Property Manager in 2003, was initially responsible for overseeing four DC properties, but in 2005, the company added The Tower Building to her property management portfolio, "because of her strong management expertise, excellence in service, and her shared vision for the company's green initiatives," stated Tower Director of Property Management and LEED(R) AP, Debbie Webb.

Prior to joining The Tower Companies, Nurmi was an MCI Facilities Manager for nine years, where she had worked for over 20 years and had oversight responsibilities for MCI's corporate headquarters, owned and managed by Tower, plus eight other MCI facilities in DC, Maryland and Virginia.
Nurmi says she is flourishing with her added responsibilities and attributes her success to her twice-daily, 20-minute practice of Transcendental Meditation(TM), which is a health benefit provided to all Tower employees to help relieve stress, obtain clarity of mind and enhance productivity.
