MINNEAPOLIS, MN - June 2, 2009 - Verisae, a web-enabled site and asset management software and services company, today announced The Great A&P Tea Co. of Montvale, NJ has contracted with Verisae for Enterprise Asset Management and Refrigerant Management software and services.

A&P's goal of eliminating paper in the maintenance process and achieve lower Total Cost of Ownership for its assets were main drivers for the selection of Verisae. Verisae's software is being used to gain control of maintenance expenses for over 400 stores.

"Verisae's software has dramatically reduced the amount paper in our department and streamlined approval processes. Information is now available to store managers and team members to help make better decisions," said Brian Lake, Senior Director of Maintenance at A&P's headquarters. "We get real-time reports with online visibility of "work in progress", actual vs. budget expenditures, better asset repair/replace information, and we eliminate duplicate service calls. This information is organized and useful for the first time using Verisae."

A test pilot program of 77 stores; complete with asset tagging, business process consulting, and contractor training was started last year. Today over 230 service providers use the system, on behalf of A&P, to electronically submit work orders and populate a central site and equipment database. This data helps A&P maintain increased visibility into one of the last areas of cost reduction opportunities for most food retailers, the maintenance and repairs budget. The Verisae program is now live in over 400 sites throughout all A&P, Waldbaums, Food Emporium and Super Fresh stores.
