NEW YORK, NY - March 10, 2008 - For the 25th year in a row, Alcoa (NYSE:AA) has been named to FORTUNE Magazine's "Most Admired" list. The annual ranking is the definitive report card on corporate reputations.

For its survey of 622 companies in 65 industries, FORTUNE asked industry executives, directors and securities analysts to rate companies on eight criteria ranging from investment value to social responsibility.

Last December, FORTUNE named Alcoa to its 2007 Blue-Ribbon Companies list, an honor recognizing companies that appear on at least four FORTUNElists in a calendar year. Alcoa has also attained recognition as a top role model in sustainable business practices, when named one of the most sustainable corporations in the world for the fourth year in a row at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Alcoa was the only U.S. based company named to the list from the Materials sector.
