PITTSBURGH - Alcoa (NYSE:AA) announced today that its ability to balance economic, environmental and social responsibility factors has qualified the company to be named a component of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index family for the fourth consecutive year.

Launched in 1999, the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI) are the first global indexes tracking the financial performance of the leading sustainability-driven companies worldwide.
