SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 15, 2005--Clear Channel Television (CCTV), a division of Clear Channel Communications Inc.(NYSE:CCU), today announced that William G. Moll, President and CEO, was elected by the United Service Organizations (USO) to serve as Vice Chairman of the USO World Board of Governors. The role of Vice Chairman is a newly created position, adding continuity to the USO World Board.

In his new role, Mr. Moll will work closely with the Current Chairman, John Gottschalk, CEO of Omaha World Herald, and other World Board of Governors to further the organization's mission of extending a touch of home to the military.

Clear Channel Communications received the United Service Organization's (USO) 2005 Award of Appreciation for providing over $1.5 million in promotional support through the company's radio, television, outdoor and entertainment divisions. This support helped enable the organization to distribute thousands of care packages and pre-paid phone cards to troops serving overseas.

In addition to the USO, Mr. Moll serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Broadcasters, Board of Directors of the University of the Incarnate Word, Board of Directors, San Antonio Zoo, UPN Board of Governors, and Vice President of the Muscular Dystrophy Association (Tucson).

Moll is also Former Chairman of TVB (New York); Former Chairman of the Dan Beard Council of the Boy Scouts of America (Cincinnati); Former Chairman of the San Antonio Art Institute; and has served on the national boards of the Advertising Council; Media Partnership for a Drug Free America; IRTF (International Radio-TV Foundation); Boy Scouts of America, Greater New York Council; CBS Television Network Affiliates Board and numerous other positions.
