Clear Channel to Auction Music Memorabilia on eBay; Proceeds From Nearly 100 Autographed Items to Benefit City of Hope Cancer Center

SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 12, 2005--As part of Clear Channel Communications' (NYSE:CCU) ongoing support of philanthropic organizations and its involvement with the City of Hope's Music and Entertainment Industry fund-raising group, many of the company's radio stations are donating autographed items from popular musicians for auction on eBay throughout the month of October. The auction will feature guitars, posters and CDs from artists including 50 Cent, Tony Bennett, Kelly Clarkson, Celine Dion, Green Day, Hillary Duff, Toby Keith, Alicia Keyes, Ludacris, Tim McGraw, Ashlee Simpson, Usher and many other celebrities. Proceeds will benefit research, treatment and education programs for cancer, HIV/AIDS, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases at City of Hope Cancer Center.

The auctions can be accessed via http://www.cityofhope.org/music/auction beginning today. Listen for details on Clear Channel Radio stations across the country, which are airing public service announcements(PSAs) and driving listeners to its Web sites where visitors can link directly to this page to participate in the auction.
